After a couple of frustrating months during which Float UK was ‘of no fixed abode’, we can finally bring you some news on the new location.
We have now signed on a fantastic place in peaceful countryside just outside Stevenage.
We think it has the potential to be even nicer than the previous float centre and hopefully it will be near enough that most of you will be able to come and float with us again.
Similar to a house move, we’re in a chain so we’re still a bit nervous about saying where exactly just yet! It will be April before we can get in and start work on creating a stunning new float centre. So – all being well – we’re looking at a summertime re-launch for Float UK.
That’s a long time to wait for a float and so we have an alternative for you…
We know that a new float centre, The Float Retreat, is being built in Little Hadham. How do we know? Because our sister company, Orbit Float, is supplying the pods for it!
They expect to open at the beginning of March (subject to lockdown, of course) and we’re making arrangements with them so that Float UK customers will have the option to float at these new premises whilst we’re closed; details to follow.
It’s a relief to have a bit more clarity and hopefully the information here will help you too. COVID restrictions and other spanners mean the plans here can change at any time so keep checking back here or follow us on social media for updates.
If you have paid for Float UK sessions that you haven’t used or have a Float UK gift card, these will still be valid for use when we reopen. You can of course request a refund at any time (details below).

I have pre-paid float session(s)
Email with booking confirmation or receipt if possible. If you don’t have either, we can check our records to see how many unused sessions you have.
I have a Float UK gift card
Email with the receipt or a photo of the gift card if possible. If you were given a gift card, then the person who bought it will need to contact us for a refund.
I have a Groupon voucher
You will need to contact Groupon Customer Support direct for a refund: call 020 3808 4038 or email email@example.com
